Cupid Cloud Hop: Book Boyfriend Spotlight-Anna and the French Kiss

Today I’m excited to host a Book Boyfriend Spotlight for WinterHaven's Cupid Cloud Hop. This week WinterHaven and a great group of Cupid Cloud Hop bloggers are posting their
Book Boyfriend and Sweetheart Couple Spotlights.

My Book Boyfriend Spotlight is dedicated to Etienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss .
I am in love with the humor he brings into this romantic story! This is one book I could read over and over again!

Anna and the French Kiss

"Etienne. My feet trip in three syllables. E-ti-enne, E-ti-enne; E-ti-enne. His name coats my tongue like melting chocolate. He is so beautiful, so perfect." - Anna

Since I can’t post a pictures of Etienne, please refer to this board on Pinterest that is captured by many fans perfectly.

 My Favorite Quotes...

“I love you as certain dark things are loved, secretly, between the shadow and the soul.”

“Most people in Atlanta don't have an accent. It's pretty urban. A lot of people speak gangsta, though," I add jokingly.
"Fo' shiz," he replies in his polite English accent.
I spurt orangey-red soup across the table. St. Clair gives a surprised ha-HA kind of laugh, and I'm laughing too, the painful kind like abdominal crunches. He hands me a napkin to wipe my chin. "Fo'. Shiz." He repeats it solemnly.
Cough cough. "Please don't ever stop saying that. It's too-" I gasp. "Much."
"You oughtn't to have said that. Now I shall have to save it for special occasions."
"My birthday is in February." Cough choke wheeze. "Please don't forget.”

“We both got our Point Zero wishes - each other. He said he wished for me every time.”

“His eyes lock on mine."Anna,I promise that I will never leave you."
My heart pounds in response. And Étienne knows it,because he takes my hand and holds it against his chest,to show me how hard his heart is pounding, too.”

“When I come back, the club is packed. There's hardly any standing room. Anna snagged a wooden bar stool, one of the few seats here. St. Clair stands close to her, facing her, and he smoothes the platinum stripe in her hair. She pulls him even closer by the top of his jeans, one finger tucked inside. It's an intimate gesture. I'm embarrassed to watch, but I can't look away.
He kisses her slowly and deeply. They don't care that anyone could watch. Or maybe they've forgotten they aren't alone. When they break apart, Anna says something that makes him fall into silly, boyish laughter. For some reason, that's the moment that makes me turn away. Something about their love is painful.”

“I'm a little distracted by this English French American Boy Masterpiece.”

"I'll only be a twenty-minute train ride from your school, and I'll make the commute to see you every night. I'd take a commute ten times that just to be with you every night."

"Will you please tell me you love me? I'm dying here."

My Thoughts:
So in love with this book. I want to read it again and again. Its a must read!!

Okay, this is a NO-BRAINER!!! READ THIS!! After reading this amazing book, I felt like a giddy school girl crazy in love... I have to say this is probobly one of my favorite books!! I love the humor that is wrapped up into this cute romantic story.

I totally lost myself in this book and I didn't want it to EVER end! I would totally give this book a way higher rating if it was available, no joke! The writting is smooth and easy to follow as well as the story itself. And the Characters, wow, love all of them (even the b*$%# Amanda) They were so well written it's like you actually know them. I loved everything about Etienne. He is flawed but when he loves, he loves with his whole heart. The chemistry between Anna and Etienne is magnetic and beautiful.

Who couldn't fall in love with a book so well written and staged in Paris, the most romantic city in the world...

  2. I'm a sucker for chocolate. And not the boxed chocolate. I'm talking the "know what I'm getting into" chocolate. Snickers. M*M's... I know, boring. But I like knowing what's going into my mouth. :)

  3. Whenever you get a heart with chocolates in it, I always go straight for the square ones because those usually have caramel and those are the ones that I love! This is a cute post. Thank you! Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven

  4. I am not much into sweets, but chocolate and ice-cream are great at any given moment, including V's Day.
Seen something about M&Ms in a comment, I can't imagine life without them, LOL!
